TAP 0142 Loton Park Hillclimb National B Event 26th August 2018

2018 Picture Power Photographic Competition Award Winner!!!

Sunday 2nd December 2018 saw the Hagley & District Light Car Club 82nd Annual awards presentation and Luncheon at Mecure Albrighton Hall Hotel in Shrewsbury.

After a nice meal a selection of awards were presented to drivers for various class wins to best newcomer and Marshal awards.

This year for the very first time a Picture Power Photographic competition took place at Loton Park Hill Climb with all images relating to the Hill Climb from wild life that live in the surrounding area like Dear and Pheasant to Motorsport related images, with over 100 entries I'm pleased to say I came 1st with the image I submitted to the competition shown to the left.

The Image is of Carole Nicholls in her single seater Formula Ford heading down Cedar Straight towards Fallow which is a left hand bend that leads to Museum and the finish line. It was a national B meeting, the last weekend of August and after glorious weeks of baking hot sunshine the heavens decided to open, even though standing in the heavy rain is not good a good idea it made for some great spray images even more so with the open wheeled cars.

I'm extremely proud in what I have achieved, Thank you to those who have purchased images from Track Action Photography, I'm looking forward to getting back behind the lens for the Motorsport season in 2019.

See you Track side.
